Tiffany Chan

4+ Years of Tutoring Experience

Specializing in Students Aged 14–17

With effort and time, success will come.

Specializing in Academic English

& Critical Thinking

Tiffany is a graduate student at the University of Alberta, completing her MA in History with a focus on Canadian immigration and refugee policy. She graduated with First Class Honours in 2025 and has served as a reviewer for undergraduate research and an editor for the department's academic journal — work that sharpened the analytical and writing skills she brings into every lesson.

With over four years of tutoring experience working primarily with students aged 14–17, she specialises in academic English, essay writing, and presentation skills — always with an emphasis on helping students think for themselves, not just produce the right answer.

| Our Standards for Canadian Tutors

At Kayu Education, we know that one-on-one teaching only works when the fit is right. Every tutor goes through a thorough interview and screening process, followed by internal training led by our founder — who personally walks them through the Hong Kong education system, the way local students think, and the challenges they commonly face. So even tutors based in Canada understand exactly what Hong Kong students need.

Because every tutor has different strengths and availability, we hand-match each student rather than leaving it to an algorithm. It takes more time — but it makes a real difference.

We're currently onboarding a new cohort of Canadian tutors who've passed our selection criteria. If you're looking for a specific subject, time slot, or want to know who's joining soon, just reach out to our team.
